The Ten Commandments
-Old Covenant-
You can remove the Commandments from public schools,
and you can strip them from court-house walls,
–however–
you cannot remove them from
the tables of your heart:
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul (Gen 2:7).
The symbolic meanings of these special words
cause this verse to read as follows:
God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and indoctrinated his passions with the doctrine of life;
and man became a living soul.
Breath = wind = doctrine; nostrils = passion, and the breath
(doctrine) of life = the Ten Commandments.
God wrote a copy of His covenant on the tables of every heart. Even the
wicked know right from wrong for “the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil” grows within the Inner Man.
Moreover, the Inner Man’s conscience retains a record of
every non-forgiven transgression.
In vain, therefore, do the wicked attempt to eradicate the Law
that will judge them on the day of judgment.
